Chuck' Bio
Chuck began his sales career in January of 1991. After a 1 year "experience" in the automobile industry, a close friend gave him some good advice. "You look unhappy. Find yourself an RV dealer and go sell motorhomes. You'll do great." (Thanks Cindy!)
Chuck took his friends advice and did just that. Although he was at a large dealership, he lacked direction and training and knew he could not prosper in this industry without it. So he moved on to another dealership which had extensive training and immediately excelled becoming the top salesperson for his location and a member of the prestigeous diesel team.
A few years passed as Chuck continued to wait for a break into management.
An opening arrived at a competing dealer and Chuck jumped at the chance for
F & I experience. Although there was little training Chuck gained enough experience to move forward.
Fortunately it wasn't long before an opening became available at a large, family owned dealership. A few more years of F & I and Chuck was promoted to Sales Manager where he remained for a total of 6 years. "I was fortunate to work for an honest family run dealership that believed in training their personell, and understood that in order to grow they had to invest in their people."

Over the years Chuck has been fortunate to have traveled the U.S. to receive training for his different positions in the RV industry. He has seen alot of excellent training and some not so excellent. But he always understood that most any training worked if it was applied.
What he has noticed, especially within the last several years, is a change in the buyer. The age and mindset of the consumer as changed. Some dealers have understood this and have excelled. And some have either missed it or misunderstood it.
"You only have to look at Stat Surveys to know it's more of a 90/10 rule when it comes to the volume and the profits. The dealers getting left behind simple lack the sales and management training necessary to compete in today's market."
Something Chuck immediately noticed was the lack of experience from the sales trainers. "Although much of the training I received was excellent, in 17 years I have never been trained for RV sales or management by anyone who has ever sold an RV!"
Chuck feels that some potentially good salespeople and those on the verge of excellence might get lost in their concern for those who are training them and simply not pay attention or fail to apply themselves.

After 17 years in the RV industry Chuck decided his greatest joy in this business was training and that is what he does today.

Chuck's qualifications speak for themselves.
He knows your industry. He knows your product. And he knows your customer.
No smoke and mirrors. Just solid, on the job experience.
Below is a partial list of the products Chuck has personally sold, and some of the factory training he has received over the years.
